It is designed to absorb energy upon impact, effectively protecting the wearer from serious injury. Along with being an outstanding energy absorber, Koroyd is also highly breathable and lightweight. 

This structure is composed of many thousands of thermally welded co-polymer extruded tubes, which crumple instantly and consistently upon impact, absorbing maximum force in a controlled manner and minimizing energy transfer to the head.

 This helps prevent direct and angled impacts and reduces the possibility of serious injury. The structure is made up of thin-walled tubes, resulting in a 95% air composition, making it lightweight and comfortable without compromising on safety.
